Nouvel Aéroport à Punta Cana

Autres

With an initial investment of 200 million dollars, a business group headed by Abrisa, a company headed by Abraham Hazoury, will begin the construction of the Bavaro International Airport, in Higuey, to compete with the Punta International Airport Cana, owned by the Puntacana Group, headed by Frank Rainieri. The project exists and is shown in great detail in a video that Acento had access to, which explains that in addition to Abrisa, Eurocontrol companies, an engineering firm based in Madrid, also the Spanish company Leadin , are linked to the project Aviation Consulting, and EFEBE Arquitectura, based in Madrid, Spain. The project was approved by the Airport Commission, through resolution No. 6796, dated January 23, 2020. The session of the Airport Commission that approved the project was attended, on behalf of the managers, by Abraham Hazoury, Chairman of the Group Abrisa, Cruz Apestegui, representative of the Bavaro International Airport, Víctor Losada, representative of LEADIN Aviation Consulting, and Mr. Rafael Gómez Cobo, representing Eurocontrol To the initial investment of 200 million dollars, it is added that the new airport would contribute to the goal of 10 million tourists per year entering the Dominican Republic, generate 2,000 new direct jobs, 3,800 indirect jobs and some 1,500 induced jobs. The work, supermodern and adapted to new technologies linked to the environment, would complement the airport structure already existing in the Dominican Republic. It is recalled that the engineer Abraham Hazoury headed the company Dominican Airports XXI Century, which obtained by bidding the administration for a period of 40 years the administration and management of Dominican state airports. In this case, it would be managed as a private company, as the Punta Cana International Airport began, which has become the one with the highest number of passengers in the whole country, even surpassing the passengers that transit through the International Airport of the Americas Watch the promotional video of the new Bavaro International Airport, to which Acento had access: https:/…
